Editorial Policy
The rules this site applies to the information it publishes and the links it sends readers to.
In short
Pages are checked before publishing, anything Adobe controls is linked rather than restated, unverified values are marked as unconfigured, and corrections are made when a reader reports an error.
Review before publishing
Every page is read through before it goes live, with two checks in particular: that each claim can be traced to a source, and that no sentence implies a capability, price or permission the site cannot back up.
Product details are verified or omitted
Version numbers, file sizes, checksums, system requirements and licence terms come from the software owner. When a value has not been confirmed against that source, the page shows it as not configured. A blank field is more useful than a plausible-looking wrong number.
No unauthorized software
This site does not host, mirror or link to cracked, patched or otherwise modified installers, serial numbers, keygens or activation bypasses. Queries about them are answered informationally on the cracked-copy page, which explains the risks and points to legitimate options instead.
Links and disclosure
- Outbound download links name the domain they open.
- External links open in a new tab with safe link attributes.
- Destinations are limited to official pages or sources the software owner has authorized.
- No interstitial pages, countdown timers, fake progress bars or simulated virus scans are used anywhere on the site.
Corrections
Software specifications change often and pages here can fall behind. Reports of an error are checked against the source and the page is updated or the claim removed. Send the page URL through the contact page.
Authorship
Author, reviewer and review-date fields are shown only when the site owner has filled them in. Pages are never given an invented byline to look more authoritative than they are.
